La Costa Grill | Our Story
Bringing the Mexican coast to McAllen
La Costa Grill opened in 2015 with one promise: bold, fresh coastal flavors rooted in the traditions of the Mexican coast.
The concept: el mar y la parrilla
We set out to do something specific — honor two great culinary traditions under one roof. On one side, the bright, citrus-forward world of mariscos; on the other, the deep, smoky character of charcoal-grilled meats and fish.
How we welcome you
Every table starts with complimentary bean soup, homemade tortilla chips, and a lineup of house-made salsas — because the details matter.
A menu built for everyone
From famous aguachiles and ceviches to octopus, salmon, and traditional tacos — there's a flavor here for every appetite.
Growing beyond the Rio Grande Valley
What started at Palms Crossing has grown well beyond the Valley — including a $2 million San Antonio expansion. The flavors people love in McAllen are finding new tables to call home.
